Will my Ferree Foundation loan or scholarship impact any financial aid I receive from other sources?

Not normally. The Ferree Foundation is not connected to any other financial aid program and very rarely impacts a student’s total financial aid package. Please contact the Foundation if you are unsure and would like to discuss your particular situation.


Can I apply for a Ferree Scholarship after I leave high school?

No. Ferree Scholarships are only awarded to one graduating senior at each high school each year. The Scholars are chosen by the school.


Can Ferree Foundation loans apply to study abroad?

Yes, as long as the study is connected to your undergraduate work and is sanctioned by the school you are attending.


If I find I do not need the loan this year, am I still eligible to receive a loan next year if I need it?

Yes. Once you have been accepted as a Ferree loan recipient, you are eligible to re-apply on a year-to-year basis.
